The PATCH Scholarship program allows people to increase their
knowledge in current developmentally appropriate practices and
increase the number of people entering into the early care and
education profession.
Funded by the Department of Human Services, PATCH scholarships
provide training reimbursement for early childhood specific college
courses, PACE workshops (if converted to college credits) or assessment
fees for obtaining a CDA certificate. Maximum amount $750 per
round (3 rounds per year: September, February, May). Limited funds
are distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Please
note that timing restrictions and application deadlines also apply.
What is eligible?
- Early care and education class for college credits (does not
include books)
- Conversion of PACE classes for college credit
- CDA Credential ($350 initial assessment fee; $50 for renewal
fee)
