Patch hilo hi

This year PATCH is hosting a Provider Appreciation Day celebration on May 3
rd, 2014 at the Imiloa Astronomy Center in Hilo.

Each year on the Friday before Mother’s day, the national observance of Provider Appreciation Day takes place throughout the country.  Child Care providers are recognized nationally for the dedicated service they provide to families and children.  Provider Appreciation Day is held so everyone can recognize the important role in supporting healthy families and children, but is also a key of our entire national economy.  This special day communicates to those who work with very young children how important their job is.  It is through devoted child care providers that so many parents are able to work or go to school.

If you are a DHS licensed child care provider and have not yet registered for this fun filled event please click here for the registration form.  Space is limited so get your form in as soon as possible.  We can't wait to see you there!

Attention: Hawaii Island Residents!

If you wish to donate to Hawaii Island United Way, or to designate a donation to a Hawaii Island United Way agency, you may do so directly from the webpage.
PATCH is a Hawaii Island United Way Agency.

Just so you are aware, the Hawaii Island United Way is a completely SEPARATE organization from the Aloha United Way.  The Hawaii Island United Way raises money and awareness AND promotes organizations providing services on the Big Island.
98% of all dollars raised for HIUW programs stay on the island and go toward funding the 55 programs the Hawaii Island United Way are supporting this year.

For activity ideas and more information about our program, click on the Quality Care Program page.  Reminder: Licensed QCP Participants can use their participation history in the program to fulfill the re-licensing requirement of "increased knowledge".  To sign up call Jowett at 961-3169!
