Scholarship Application Submission

Maximum amount awarded is $750 per round (3 rounds per year: August, January, May). Limited funds are distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Priority is given to those currently employed in a licensed Child Care Facility or operating a registered family child care home. Applicants must live in Hawaii.

Online submission is only for the current round. Application may only be submitted once course(s) have been completed and updated transcript received.
Your online submission will include all documents (scholarship application, Proof of payment, Transcripts of passing grade and financial award letter if applicable). Incomplete applications will not be process if submitted online.

ECE Scholarship Priorities

Priority given to applicants employed at a DHS licensed or registered facility.

Priority 1, 2 and 3 are for applicants employed at a DHS licensed or registered facility working toward an Associates, Bachelors or CDA
Priority 4 are for applicants employed at a DHS licensed or registered facility working towards their master's degree.
Priority 5 are for applicants not employed at a DHS licensed or registered facility.
