About Us
Our ECWR CQI program goal is to improve the Early Learning and Child Care professional skills, knowledge,
and practices in working with children and families by utilizing technical assistance (TA) and coaching
services provided by PATCH to build Maui County’s Early Learning and child care workforce that will impact
child care availability to support and aid in the rebuild and restoration of Hawai’i’s economic recovery.

PATCH now offers a unique opportunity for high school students to earn the Child Development Associate® (CDA) credential™. Earning a CDA® credential in high school jumpstarts successful careers and channels faculty expertise. The CDA is the only portable, national and multi-language credential of its kind. A CDA opens career opportunities for thousands of graduates every year.
