PATCH is grateful to the Safeway Foundation for their generous grant of $2,000 to address hunger and provide nutrition assistance to families of young children experiencing homelessness.

The Safeway Foundation focuses on giving locally and works hand in hand with local nonprofit organizations to help strengthen neighborhoods and change lives.

We are thankful for this grant to the Homeless Outreach Program, which is fully privately-funded. It will help us address hunger and healthy eating for keiki who are houseless and at-risk in Hawaii, one of our most vulnerable populations. Along with offering nutritional resources, the program also offers resources for these children and infants’ care, education, health, and more.

We very much appreciate your spirit of community, Safeway Foundation. Mahalo nui loa!
